Mondial Sport activity started in 1948, thanks to Boselli brothers and Oreste Dursani, a passionate motor-cyclist. In 1948 was manufactured the first motorcycle made by Mondial, a 125 motorcycle. It was a great success: World record as the ones on kilometres or on miles. At the beginning of the mid-century Mondial manufactured for the first time in the world a fairing motorcycle, thanks to a new technique of racing motors 125: aerodynamics and performances unthinkable at that time. There were many worldwide victories. At that time Boselli brothers took an important decision: they dicided to entrust the industrial production to Michelini Company of Bologna, maintaining the duty to see the commercial-administrative management and the production supervision. In 1955 and 1956 sales reached about 5000 pieces. 1957 was the golden year for the sporting Mondial. It won 4 World . In 1960 began a sale’s decrease that brought Mondial to its first financial crisis.
