Description: This year's all new 220R has generated a great deal of excitement amongst KDX diehards everywhere. Kawasaki claims that the 220R "bridges the gap" between riders who feel a 200cc machine might be underpowered, but consider a 250cc bike to be too much motorcycle. Both KDX models share an identical chassis with the only differences being the motor and carb.

I have a 97 kdx 220 its a great bike all round. I also have driven the klx 300's. The 300 has lots of torque for climbing hills but i found this bike to bulky and heavy. The kdx is a lot snappier, lighter, and jumps much better.
