Road user Education
The standard of road user education should be raised to encompass all aspects of road use.
The club provides for motorcross riding petrol heads in the lower North Island, and just recently have added trail to our list of successful meets.
We have a track on Motuiti Road, just north of Foxton.
The Ixion Motorcycle Club is an incorporated club and is one of the oldest in New Zealand, it was first started in 1928.
Currently we run Observed Trials events, and have a membership of approximately 40 people.
The club was formed in 1911 and is based in Palmerston North. It hosts many motorcycle events including motocross, road racing , trials, trail rides, miniature road race, enduro, super motard, and ATV.
The club was formed by a group of like-minded parents who wanted to provide a safe environment for children, between the ages of 4 & 12 years, to gain exposure to dirt bike racing.
The Rusty Nuts Motorcycle Club bring you some of the best known events in the New Zealand motorcycle calandar.
We run "The Grand Challenge" a 1000 mile (1609km) 24 hour event every October.
Also the "Southern Cross Road Rally" a six or seven day event travelling to the four extremities of New Zealand accessable by road.
